"Good for homeschool books, but a little clunky"
I use Seton Books for a lot of our homeschool stuff, it gets the job done. They have most of what we need, and once you figure out where the grade-level books are, it’s easy to find them. The rough part is the website itself feels kind of old, and searching or checking out on my phone can be a bit of a pain. Shipping details also aren’t always as clear as I’d like. So yeah, it’s not bad at all, just not the smoothest experience.

"Had a perfectly good experience"
I ordered from Seton Educational Media i don’t really get why anyone would make it sound complicated. The site was easy enough to use, the pages loaded fine, and I found the books I needed without having to click all over the place. Checkout was straightforward too, with no weird glitches or confusing steps. It was a good experience for me, and I’d definitely use it again.

"Not quite the challenge I was hoping for"
I went into Seton Books thinking it would be a bit more demanding, and it just didn’t feel that way for us. Some of the lessons were fine, like not bad at all, but then my kid would fly through them and I’d be sitting there thinking, wait, that’s it? I was expecting more academic push, I guess. It might be a great fit for another family, and there were parts I didn’t mind, but overall it felt more basic than I wanted.

"Damaged books and a frustrating support runaround"
The box showed up with barely any padding, so the corners were all smashed up. One of the books was bent badly too. I expected them to pack books better than this for shipping. To make it more annoying, when I contacted customer service, I kept getting transferred around instead of anyone just helping me fix the problem.

"I got all the way to the payment..."
I got all the way to the payment page, but something about it just felt off. Maybe it was the layout or the way the security info wasn’t really obvious, but I didn’t feel totally sure my card details would be safe. I was sitting there with my coffee getting cold and ended up just closing the tab instead of finishing the order.

"Showed in stock, but it wasn’t"
I tried ordering this twice because the site said it was in stock, but both times I got through checkout and then found out it wasn’t available. I get that inventory can change, but common sense says it should be updated before customers place an order.

"Binding came loose sooner than I expected"
From what I remember, the books were perfectly fine to read at first, but the binding started coming loose quickly after some normal use. I’ve had similar books last a lot longer, so this was a bit disappointing

"Backorder was no big deal"
I ordered a few books and one of them was on backorder, but they made that clear before I checked out so it wasn’t a surprise or anything. Shipping took a little longer, yeah, but I knew why. Overall it was fine... I’d order from them again.

I accidentally ordered the wrong book and needed to send it back. The return steps were clear, clear enough that I didn’t have to guess what to do. My refund came through without any hassle. "Good fit for my 5th grader"
I ordered some books for my 5th grader and most of them was a good match for his level. A few sections were feel a little harder than I expected, but it wasn’t a huge problem. The site descriptions did help a lot before I bought them, so I had a decent idea of what we were getting. Shipping was fine too. I’m giving 4 stars because I just wish there was more sample pages to look at so I could check the level better.

"Had a good feeling and the books showed up great"
I ordered a few used books from setonbooks.com, when I opened the package I just had that immediate “okay, this was a good buy” feeling. The books looked better than I expected, with only a bit of light wear on the covers, and the pages were clean with no weird smells or random writing everywhere.
Shipping was totally fine, but what stood out most was that the condition actually matched what was listed. I kind of went with my gut when ordering, and I’m glad I did. I’d definitely buy from them again.

"Limited Selection and Not Very Customer-Focused"
I felt like the selection was limited and I couldn’t find what I actually needed. It kind of gave me the impression that they’re more focused on pushing what’s profitable than making sure customers have enough good options to choose from.

"I stopped in while I was already out…"
I stopped in while I was already out running errands, mostly just to browse since I didn’t really have a strict shopping list. Some of the deals actually seemed good, especially if you happen to catch the right item at the right time. But a few things, at least to me, felt kind of overpriced compared to what I’ve seen elsewhere. Not a bad place overall, just one of those spots where I’d check prices before assuming everything is a bargain.

"Good books, slow shipping"
The books were in good shape when they finally arrived, but the shipping took way longer than I expected, almost two weeks. The tracking didn’t really update much either, which was a little frustrating. A friend had recommended ordering from here, so I was hoping for a smoother experience. It’s fine if you’re not in a rush, but I wouldn’t count on it if you need the books quickly...
